2017 Census completed

The Hasani government has completed the 2017 National Census, which records various data regarding the population of Hasanistan. The census has shown that currently, Hasanistan has a population of 8 registered citizens. This is a minor decrease but the government states that the numbers are successful.
While the results will be private and not available to the public, the Hasani government has declassified certain information from the census. According to the census data, Köktughluk has the largest amount of registered citizens with a total of 3, followed by the capital Batyr which has 2 and then Çobanistan, Körfez-i Bahreyn and Ardajan which all only have a single registered citizen. The province of Srigina has no registered citizens, although this is due to its only previous registered citizen having had his citizenship stripped due to organising a coup attempt earlier this year. The census also shows that the Hasani people have a slim majority of nearly 38%, followed by "Turks" (non-Hasani Turks) who are 25% of the population and Arabs, Šlovedks (an ethnic group originating from Nedland) and Slovaks who all respectively make up almost 13% of the population. As expected, Islam is the dominate religion within Hasanistan by 75%. No differentiation between sects of either Islam or Christianity was recorded within the census.
The provisional head of state Hasan Çakar has issued the following statement following the announcement of the completion of the census:
"The census has been completed and the first stage of the six-month plan is complete. Next, I shall write an electoral law for this country so we can finally hold elections and return to activity. I plan for a presidential election in January 2018 and we may hold local elections in some provinces such as Köktughluk and Ardajan before or after the election."
